I see nothing wrong with the Shekhina series. Some of the Photos are absolutely beautiful. Being raised Christian, I wasn't aware of the feminine aspect of God. I find his book and the legion interesting.

Praising perjorative "Blackness" symbolizes the disconnect African Americans have to their homeland/birthright. This music didn't come from "Black," it comes from Africa (including parts of what is now considered the MiddleEast) where you can feel this energy in the air you breathe the people you meet. Listening to the Muezzin sing, during prayer that is played on the streets, no way to describe it but warm music hugs, regardless of your spiritual beliefs. Of course, the first muezzin was an Arab African/Ethiopian, Bilal Ibn Rahbah, singing songs of resilience and strength in a damaged world. And I imagine he received this gift from his mother, an African woman. Our music is time tested to reach the soul, soothe, teach and remind that we are still together. Black as a race was a social construction to belittle and it's easy to maintain as minorities on an isolated land mass. Reconnect with your world. I thank Sweet Honey and the Rock for sharing our heritage. They used to visit Burlington, Vt frequently, where I became familiar with them.

Long been a fan of Bruce's, but this track eluded me until I heard it in the most unlikely of places: playing on the PA system of a small hotel in Copenhagen, DENMARK?!? None of his singles or albums charted there, surprised anyone there knows who he is. I loved the song immediately so Shazam'd it and couldn't believe that it was bruce. Loved it ever since!!

met Bruce after show at Baton Rouge’s-Red Dragon Music Review. 62 year old fan boy! mentioned this song and the visuals it painted, he said that the “today these eyes scan for the outbound stage” line evoked a western movie collage. i just sat there, mouth agape and saying “yes”!! also, “pacing the cage” ties into our Louisiana Tigers.

Just read Loren Coleman's homage to Joe from 'The Anomalist' (May, 2001). Caroline Lennox also wrote a poem for him on the same page: the combination of their sentiments were moving. Fwiw, I only found JF while looking up George Chapman, the healer/medium. Joe'd written his bio, but once I read Joe's bibliography, he seemed a far more interesting subject - no offense to Mr. Chapman. Anyway, his was a mighty sad ending. Because I've had my share of what I'll call inexplicable experiences, I don't doubt that dark energies pressed him beyond hope and I'm sorry that someone like Edith Fiore, PhD couldn't heĺp him via spirit releasement. It makes me want to send him all the light that angels can bring. So, from a stranger across miles and time - and nelther exist beyond the veil - here goes. Rest in paradise, Joe. Paz y luz to all 💫
